The business is owned and run by Jonathan (Joss) and Elizabeth Timoney,We both have backgrounds in construction, property management and cleaning services with over 50 years of  experience.

 

We have worked as sole traders for about 10 years and more recently set up a company called JET Cleaning and Property  Services Ltd. We enjoy working with clients who are interested in their beautiful properties being maintained and presented to a high standard with attention to detail.

 

Joss completed a bricklaying apprenticeship. After living in California, where he worked cleaning and maintaining swimming pools. When he returned to England he worked at the Royal Mail and subsequently JPMorgan. During this time, aside from gaining extensive project management experience, he renovated, remodelled and extended multiple properties, eventually leaving JPMorgan to expand his work in construction and property management. 

 

Joss has years of experience in the construction and cleaning industries and is very practically minded. After completing a carpentry apprenticeship, (NVQ III) and a HNC in Civil Engineering. His love of learning and buildings led him to complete an MSc in Building Conservation and PGDip Building Surveying. 

 

Following a number of years work on the tools with a local building firm who specialised in work on historic buildings, Joss worked for English Heritage for over a decade where he managed their portfolio of buildings within the West of England, as a Technical Manager, Conservation Maintenance Manager and the Head of Estates (West). 

 

Joss  specifically cared for the Cyclical, Response and Planned Maintenance, as well as the cleaning and presentation of the properties, including their holiday lets and bespoke wedding venues in a very customer focussed role. He was responsible for over 130 properties. Given the nature of the properties is guardianship, the work had to be delivered to an exacting standard with minimal effect to the visitor experience. 

 

After starting a family, we started a small cleaning business, looking after commercial and residential properties, including a number of holiday lets.
